If your ship stops in Catania you can decide to visit the city by taking a nice walk from the port to the center. Walking along the Via Cardinale Dusmet, along the “archi della Marina”, you reach Piazza Duomo: here you can visit the cathedral dedicated to Sant’Agata, the Amenano Fountain with the fish market that opens behind it. Walking along Via Etnea, the main street of the city, you can go shopping and also reach Piazza Vincenzo Bellini with the majestic Teatro Massimo.
